Yingge has more than two hundred years of history in producing ceramics and is the ceramics capital of Taiwan. In 2000, New Taipei City government selected Yingge for Taiwan’s first ceramics-themed museum, with goals to develop local tourism, drive the transformation of the ceramics industry in Yingge, and provide a platform for showcasing and exchanging achievements in Taiwan’s ceramic art. As a specialized ceramics museum, Yingge Ceramics Museum has assumed the responsibilities of preserving knowledge in ceramics, reviving the ceramics industry, and promoting contemporary ceramic art.  We are devoted to hold International Taiwan Ceramics Biennale, Taiwan Ceramics Awards, permanent and special exhibitions, etc., and try to combine with digital technology and provide various online exhibitions and interactive activities. With full dedication, we engage in ceramics research, educational activities, cooperating with schools and communities and building the base of ceramic art. We continue to inviting international resident artists every year, holding workshops with artists, coordinating local industries, promoting cultural diversity and equal rights. Besides main building, there is a ceramic park for people to entertain, watch the foot kicking wheel demonstrations and explore the ceramic works and Square Kiln that are set in the park.  As a professional museum, preserving and promoting ceramic culture is our responsibility and obligation. Enriching lifestyles with the aesthetics of ceramics, thus elevating Taiwan’s ceramics industry and ceramic art to the global arena.

Andenne and Ceramic Art Andenne (CAA) Conceived by a handful of enthusiasts, the Andenne ceramics event was born in 1988 and was called "Viens voir un pot" for its first two editions. The event took the name of Biennale de la Céramique d'Andenne in 1992 and very quickly attracted a public of connoisseurs and renowned artists. Since then, it has been managed by the Andenne Cultural Centre and is now fully dedicated to giving visibility to contemporary ceramic art. No longer a biennial but a triennial, the event has changed its name to Ceramic Art Andenne for its 2018 edition. It is a place of choice for saying, discovering, touching, listening and seeing what is being done in the world of ceramics, in its diversity of forms. The next edition will be held from 14 May to 12 June 2022. Among the 8 national and international exhibitions programmed, we are proud to announce that the guest country is South Korea. The presence of an artist in residence, demonstrations, performances, conferences, workshops and a Ceramic Market are also programmed.

The British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) launched in 2009 with a festival celebrating and showcasing contemporary ceramics from across the world. Set in Stoke-on-Trent, the heart of the UK ceramics industry, the festival takes place in established venues and non-traditional spaces across the city. BCB has returned every two years since, with the latest, its seventh iteration, in 2021. Over the years BCB – in addition to the festival – has built up a programme of projects of artists’ residencies, fellowships, commissions, education, health and community projects running year-round. These programmes enhance, complement and form part of the festival celebrating the life, character and creativity that ceramics bring to the city of Stoke-on-Trent. BCB is intended to be a catalyst for regeneration in the region and to create a platform for innovation and excellence celebrating the best in current ceramic practices, both nationally and internationally. We work in partnership with organisations and individuals in the museums, cultural, industry, business, education, community and voluntary sectors across the city in the development and delivery of projects with a particular focus on public engagement.

The European Ceramic Workcentre is an international artist in residence and centre of excellence for ceramics. For over 50 years, artists, designers and architects from all over the world have worked here to experiment with clay. The experiments result in both special works of art and technical innovations. The works developed here are shown in museums from New York to Tokyo.The combination of world-class facilities, the presence of advisors with internationally leading technical knowledge and the openness to freely share recipes, processes and innovations, makes the EKWC a special place. The mission of the non-profit EKWC is to further develop the material ceramic and to promote its application in art, design and architecture.The centre is located in the former dyeing and tannery of the Royal United Leather Factory in Oisterwijk, the Netherlands. A monumental building that was once the largest leather factory in Europe. A place where history, inspiration and making are combined for more than a century.

Clayarch Gimhae Museum is located in Gimhae, the center of Ancient Geumgwan Gaya and the birthplace of Buncheong Ware. Gimhae is also called the home of ancient tea bowls by the Japanese. The museum is a cultural arts complex with various spaces and facilities, which can host large domestic and international events, exhibitions, education classes and academic seminars. It is the world’s first museum specialized in architectural ceramics, and has 5,000 fired painting tiles surrounding the outer wall. The museum itself is considered to be a piece of artwork. The size of the venue is 11,814.39m2, with various spaces. There are the Dome House and the Cubic House, which are exhibition spaces; Ceramics Creative Center is a residency space for domestic and international artists. Art-Kitchen and Clay Academy provide various educational programs with hands-on experiences. Large outdoor events and performances can be staged in two places, a large square in front of Dome House and in Picnic Park, located behind Dome House. The venue also has a media room, which is equipped with sound and lighting systems and can be used as a venue for international academic meetings and seminars. Eco-friendly structures such as Clayarch Tower, Art Shelter and sculptures installed in the outdoor space, highlight the natural beauty of Clayarch Gimhae Museum as if it is a watercolor painting.

Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park is a comprehensive facility for ceramic culture which was established in 1990 with the aim of promoting ceramic product of Shigaraki ware. Which is a traditional culture and industry, and contributing to the development of ceramic art culture around the world. The Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art is intended to be a distinctive institution capable of surveying new trends in ceramic art, with an international and contemporary spirit. Our collection are from the field of “Japanese Contemporary Ceramic Art”, “Non-Japanese Contemporary Ceramic Art”, “Works from the Local Ceramic Scene”, and the “Craft and Ceramic Design“.Shigaraki Industrial Exhibition Hall, which conveys the "NOW" of Shigaraki ware as an industry, various types of Shigaraki ware products from each company are exhibited. Shigaraki ware is also sold at the shop in the Industrial Hall.At the Institute of Ceramic Studies since 1992, domestic and foreign artists have stayed and started the artist-in-residence program, where they engage in creative activities through exchanging the idea. So far, we have accepted more than 1300 ceramic artists and art-related people from 55 countries and the area through the world.
